This is a butterfly I photographed in the butterfly conservatory at Callaway Gardens a couple of weeks ago.

Grady

A black and white cat just showed up at our house and then brought over all five of her kittens the next week. We found homes for four and kept this one and his mother. Stephen named him Grady.

Jacob turned seven years old on July 23rd!

Jacob was so excited!

We celebrated Jacob's birthday twice since we didn't have it on his actual birthday. This is a Superman cake our friend Kim made for him.

Stephen and Tolina (Kim's daughter).

Here are some photos from "Pioneer Day." The members of our church gathered at the Prince Antique Farm Museum in Cairo. This is a photo of his barn. He has several animals and birds there, old farm equipment, and a rustic old cabin where we had a nice dinner. Pictured here are all of my kids in front of his barn holding some peacock feathers. We took a hay ride, sung songs, and had a lesson about the mormon pioneers. It was so much fun!

The facilities

This is a fan tail dove.

Caroline and Zac were eating boiled peanuts with brother Butler.

All the kids got a chance to learn how to milk a cow. They all loved it. Look at Katherine peeking under the cow. All the kids sat on a rusty little old stool that Mr. Prince said he used to sit on and milk the cows every morning when he was a boy.

Here is Caroline "milking the cow."

Stephen "milking the cow."

Here are some miniature pot-belly pigs.

This was too funny not to photograph!

Isn't this beautiful? It's one of Mr. Prince's doves.

Here are the twins (Monica and Erica Ezell) on the swing.

This is brother Butler in his cowboy hat.

Here we are on a hay ride. Mr. Prince pulled us behind his tractor.

We all went on a hay ride on this very old-timey wagon all over the farm. The kids loved it!
